2020年にCOVIDの影響により、毎年恒例のNAR会議 (NAR = National Association of Realtors “全米不動産協会”、以下省略: NAR)は昨年キャンセルされました。しかし、今年は通常通り開催されました！多くの不動産業者が加盟している全米不動産協会は、先週、カリフォルニア州サンディエゴで年次会議を開催いたしました。アメリカ全土から約1万人の不動産業者が参加し、指導的立場にある方々のための会議、委員会会議、次授業、ネットワーキングイベントなど、たくさんの不動産関連業者を取り上げた大規模な博覧会がとなりました。色々なパーティーや行事があり、とても良い経験となりました。スーザンが今年リエゾンを務めるテキサス不動産業者グローバル委員会は、米国のトップグローバル評議会において、プラチナ賞を受賞しました。全米女性不動産協会ヒューストンは、認定ネットワークとして賞を受賞しました。やったー！

With COVID striking the world in 2020, the annual NAR Conference was cancelled last year. But, this year was a different story! The National Association of Realtors, of which most real estate agents are a member of, held their annual conference last week in sunny San Diego, CA. Some 10,000 realtors from all over the United States attended. There were governance meetings for those in leadership positions, committee meetings, educational classes, networking events, and a huge expo featuring all kinds of real estate related vendors. It was such a happy convention with many parties and celebrations. The Texas Realtors Global Committee, of which Susan serves as Liaison this year, won the Platinum Award for top global councils in the United States. Womens Council of Realtors Houston won an award as a Certified Network. Yay!  

Womens Council of Realtors (全米女性不動産協会、以下省略: WCR)は、すべての都市にネットワークを持つ女性不動産業者における協会です。ヒューストンは多く違う郊外のある、非常に大きな都市であるため、実際には6つの区分があります。 2022年、案浦スーザンはヒューストンネットワークの会長へ就任いたします。スーザン率いるヒューストンネットワークチームはメンバーのために、2022年1月31日に開催される、ヒューストン不動産協会の社長兼CEOであるボブ・ヘイルとスチュワートタイトルのSVPチーフ・エコノミストであるテッド・ジョーンズとのイベントを含む、様々な種類の素晴らしいイベントを開催する予定です。私たちは現在、WCR ヒューストンのパートナーとスポンサーを募集しています。女性ビジネスリーダーのサポートに関心のある企業は、パンフレットを確認し、susan @ annourarealty.comまでご連絡ください。

The Womens Council of Realtors is a national organization of women realtors with networks in every city.  Houston is such a large city with so many different suburbs that Houston actually has six networks! In 2022, Susan Annoura will serve as the President of the Houston Network. Alongside her executive board, the Womens Council of Realtors Houston has all kinds of great events planned for their members including their kickoff event January 31, 2022 with Houston Association of Realtors President/CEO Bob Hale and Stewart Title’s SVP Chief Economist, Ted Jones. 今年の感謝祭は2021年11月25日木曜日に祝われます。伝統的に、感謝祭の翌日はブラックフライデーと呼ばれる休日であり、1年で最大の買い物日です。売れ行きが好調なだけでなく、深夜営業の店舗などもあり、一晩中営業しているお店もあります！感謝祭で行う伝統的なことの例としては、家族が集合し七面鳥、詰め物、マッシュドポテト、クランベリーソース、パンプキンパイをいただくことです。多くの人たちは、一日中サッカーを見たり、テレビでメイシーズのデーパレードを観覧するのが好きみたいです。私の家族は感謝祭の休暇中に家族旅行へ出かけます。普段だと子供たちが学校を1週間休校になるからです！ヒューストンが初めての場合は、ロストメープルズ州立公園とエンチャンテッドロックをチェックしてみてはどうでしょうか？どちらの場所にもハイキングコース、紅葉など涼しくなってきた気候を楽しむのに最適です。必ず事前にお電話でご予約ください！みなさん、ハッピーサンクスギビング！

Thanksgiving this year will be celebrated on Thursday November 25, 2021.  Traditionally, the day after Thanksgiving is a holiday called Black Friday, and is one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Not only are huge sales going on, but stores open super late at night, with some stores opening all night long! Some traditional things to do on Thanksgiving are family get togethers to eat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. People also like to watch football all day and to watch the Macy’s Day Parade on TV. Our family tends to travel during the Thanksgiving Holiday because the kids usually have the entire week off from school! One great place to check out if you are new to Houston is Lost Maples State Park and Enchanted Rock. Both places have great hiking trails, fall foliage, and wonderful weather this time of the year. Be sure to call ahead for reservations! Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
