    ヒューストンのビッグニュース！！世界最大の空調機器メーカーであるダイキンが、ヒューストンの野球場の命名権を獲得しました！2025年1月1日をもって、Minute Maid Parkの名前がDaikin Parkに変更されます。ヒューストン・アストロズとDaikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc.は、アストロズの本拠地を「DAIKIN PARK」とするための15年間の命名権契約を発表しました。このパートナーシップは、地域社会や広範な地域に対する両組織の共有ビジョンと長年のコミットメントを強化するものです。これまでにダイキンは、ヒューストン地域に約10億ドルもの巨額投資を行っており、そのうち5億ドル以上がテキサス州ウォーラーにある巨大な製造施設の建設に充てられています。最初の試合は、2025年3月24日（月）、アストロズがトリプルA提携チームであるシュガーランドを迎えたエキシビションゲームで行われます。そして、アストロズは3月27日（木）午後3時10分、ニューヨーク・メッツとの2025年レギュラーシーズン開幕戦をDaikin Parkで迎えます！ダイキン様、命名権の獲得おめでとうございます！Annoura Realty Group全員がダイキン様を誇りに思っています！

    Major Houston news!! The world’s largest HVAC manufacturer, Daikin, got the naming rights for our city’s baseball park last week, and effective January 1, 2025, Minute Maid Park will change its name to Daikin Park! The Houston Astros and Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. announced a 15 year naming-rights partnership to brand the Astros’ home field to DAIKIN PARK. The partnership strengthens both organizations’ shared vision and long-standing commitment to the community and broader regions. Overall, Daikin has invested an astounding $1 billion into the Houston region, including more than $500 million in building their massive manufacturing facilities in Waller, TX. The first game at Daikin Park will be played on Monday March 24, 2025 as the Astros host Triple-A affiliate Sugar Land in an exhibition game. The Astros open the 2025 regular season on Thursday, March 25, 2025 at 3:10pm against the New York Mets at Daikin Park! Congratulations to our biggest and longest standing corporate client, Daikin.     案浦家最新情報へようこそ! 攻はまだフランスにいますが、皆さんがこれを読む頃にはスーザンもフランスにいるはずです。過去 2 週間は、スーザンがシングル マザーとして、同時に多くのことをこなすという、かなり忙しい日々でした。ザカリーの朝と午後の送り迎えに加え、スペイン語、合唱、レスリング、ボーイスカウトなどの課外活動は、ロジスティクスの悪夢でした。そこで先週、家族の運転手を雇いました。ようこそ、スターリン! 彼女はザックが生まれたときのベビーシッターで、タイミングよく運転を手伝ってくれたので、ここ数週間は私たちにとってありがたい存在でした。一方、フランスでは、攻のアスリートがギネス世界記録に挑戦しました。カンノさん、おめでとうございます!その他のエキサイティングなニュースとしては、コー自身がマスターズトラック世界選手権（https://mtwc-roubaix.com/）のスプリント部門に出場する予定です。57歳の彼は今でもレースが大好きで、この大会のために一生懸命トレーニングしてきました。スーザンは日曜日（昨日）に飛行機でそこに飛び、13日に2人がヒューストンに戻る前にロベで彼を応援する予定です。一方、丈と泰は大学にいるので、ザックはヒューストンで一人でいます。スーザンの両親が近くに住んでいるので、彼の面倒を見てくれて本当にありがたいです。お母さん、お父さん、ありがとう！丈はすでに次の夏のインターンシップに応募していて、泰は海軍兵学校での生活を楽しんでいます。福岡の案浦家の家はついに着工し、順調に進んでいます。基礎工事が終わり、建物はどんどん上がっています！スーザンとザックは毎日可能な限りゴルフを数ホールします。夕方になると外の天気は確かに良くなってきていますが、最近は日が暮れるのが早いです。皆さんも元気でいらっしゃることを願っています！

    Welcome back to another edition of Annoura Family news! Koh is still in France and by the time you read this, Susan should be in France as well. The past 2 weeks have been pretty crazy with Susan playing a single mom and juggling many things at the same time. Zachary’s carpool schedule morning and afternoon plus all of his extra curricular activities like Spanish, choir, wrestling, and boy scouts have been a logistical nightmare so last week, a family driver was hired. Welcome, Starlyn! She was a babysitter for Zach when he was born and the timing worked out for her to help do some of our driving, so this has been a blessing to us the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile over in France, Koh’s athlete succeeded in his quest to make a Guiness Book of World Records, so congratulations to Mr. Kanno! In other exciting news, Koh himself will be competing in the Masters Track World Championships (https://mtwc-roubaix.com/) in the sprint category. At age 57, he still loves racing and has been training hard for this competition. Susan flew over there on Sunday (yesterday) and will cheer for him in Robaix before the two of them return to Houston on the 13th. Meanwhile, with Joe and Ty at college, Zach is flying solo in Houston. Thank goodness for Susan’s parents living nearby to let him stay with them. Thanks, mom and dad! Joe is applying for summer internships already and Ty is enjoying his Naval Academy life. The Annoura Family home in Fukuoka FINALLY broke ground and is making progress. The foundation is poured and the building is going UPPPPPP!  Whenver possible, Susan and Zach squeeze in a few holes of golf and the weather sure is getting nice outside in the evenings, although the evening skies come quicker than we like. We hope you are all doing well too!

    案浦家の最新情報は、3 人の息子たちがついに新学年をスタートしたことです。丈は子供達の中では最後となりましたが、先週テキサス大学で3年生をスタート、泰は夏の厳しいトレーニングを終え、新入生も他の学生に加わり授業が始まりました。また、彼には新しいルームメイトがいて、携帯が使用できるようになり、レスリング チームの他のメンバーと本格的にレスリングの練習が開始しました。コラット コーチが新入生を何人かカットすると初めから言っていたので、私たちはここ数週間不安でしたが、泰は無事にカットを乗り切り、今も海軍レスリング チームの一員となりました。丈はテキサス大学の 3 年生になり、マコームズ ビジネス スクールでファイナンスを専攻すると宣言しました。今年はカッパ シグマ フラタニティ ハウスに引っ越しましたが、今のところとても楽しんでいるようです。一方、ザックは今のところ 7 年生を楽しんでいます。彼の新しい試みは合唱です。合唱の先生はとても活動的で、今学期はいろいろなイベントがあるので、私たちは全てを観れるように頑張ります。更に、今年はスペイン語を授業に加えたので、泰と同じようにスペイン語を勉強するつもりです。攻は来月フランスで行われる試合に備えて、毎日トレーニングをしています。マスターズトラック世界選手権は10月7日の週に開催され、スーザンは1週間飛行機でコーの男子スプリント競技を観戦する予定です。スーザンは、今週ワイオミング州に向かい、ワイオミング州の不動産協会会長に就任するNARLAの同僚のために出席します。その後、ガルベストンで3日間過ごし、HAR 2025戦略計画リトリートに参加します。5人家族から4人家族、そして3人家族になったのは不思議な感じです。子供たちが成長して家を出るのは普通のことですが、私たち親にとってはやはり少し寂しいです。レイバー デーの週末、私たちは車で丈に会いにオースティンに向かいました。ベイ オークスの会員だったので、レイクウェイのコースでゴルフができてとても楽しかったです。私たち 4 人 (泰はいません!) は、カウンティ ライン オン ザ レイクでおいしいテキサス バーベキューを食べ、4 マイルのきついハイキング (約 10,000 歩) もしました。息子たちと過ごせる時間は1秒でも大切にしたいものです。

    In Annoura family news, all three boys have finally started school, with Joe being the last one starting University of Texas last week. Ty has finished his intense summer physical training and now that school has started, his freshmen group has incorporated into the rest of the brigade. He also has new roommates, can use his cell phone, and has officially started wrestling practice with the rest of the wrestling team. We were nervous the past couple of weeks because he said Coach Kolat was cutting some of the new freshmen, but the good news is he has survived the cuts and is still a part of the Navy Wrestling team! Joe has started year 3 of UT and has declared his major to be Finance inside the McCombs School of Business. This year he moved into the Kappa Sigma frat house and seems to really enjoy it so far. Meanwhile, Zach is enjoying 7th grade so far. His new endeavor is choir! His choir teacher is very active and has all kinds of events going on this semester so we are trying to keep up with it all. Zach added Spanish to his class lineup as well, so he will follow in Ty’s footsteps and try hablar espanol! Koh is working out everyday, preparing for his competition next month in France. The masters track world championships will be held the week of October 7 and Susan plans to fly over for a week to watch him compete in the mens sprint. As for Susan, she heads to Wyoming this week for a NARLA colleague’s inauguration as Wyoming state’s realtor association President. Following that will be 3 days in Galveston for her HAR 2025 strategic planning retreat. It’s been weird going from a family of 5 to a family of 4 and now to a family of 3. It’s normal for the kids to grow up and leave home but it’s still a little sad for us parents! Over Labor Day weekend, we jumped in the car and headed to Austin to find Joe. With our Bay Oaks membership, we were able to play golf at a course in Lakeway so that was a lot of fun. The four of us (no Ty!) ate some great Texas BBQ at County Line on the Lake and also did a strenuous 4 mile hike (almost 10,000 steps). We treasure any time we can spend with our boys!

    この2週間、案浦家はあちこちで大忙しです！ザックはまだ日本にいて（6月3日から）、8月7日まで日本に滞在する予定です。彼の大きなニュースは、770年以上前から続く福岡の巨大な祭り、子供山笠に参加したことです。わあ、とても古い伝統的なお祭りですね！ フェスティバルのピークは 7 月 15 日の午前 4 時 59 分に開催されますが、すべての準備と練習は 7 月 1 日に始まります。フェスティバルの子供向けバージョンは 7 月初旬に開催されます。ザックはクラスのリーダーになれることにとても興奮しており、「ヤマ」を担う良いポジションを獲得しました。一方、攻は7月3日に日本に飛び、ザックと一緒に帰国するまで福岡に滞在する予定です。攻も山笠に参加し、今回特別だったのは、家族の友人である口石さんとザックと一緒に練習ラウンドの一つで「山の頂上」に乗れたことです！博多祇園山笠に関する追加情報については、こちらをご覧ください: https://www.Fukuoka-now.com/en/yamakasa/

    丈はまだ西海岸におり、サウザンド オークスにあるスーザンのいとこの家に滞在し、ユージーンの投資銀行会社でインターンシップを行っています。彼は新しい友達を作り、リサイクル ショップで見つけたユニークな宝物を売買するという副業も楽しんでいます。かなりのヴィンテージTシャツのスペシャリストになっているようです！アメリカの反対側では、泰は海軍兵学校での「プレベサマー」の最初の2週間を無事に乗り越えました。スーザンは、7 月 7 日に彼から 1 通の手紙と 30 分間の 1 本の電話を受け取り、とても喜んでいました。泰は、彼の厳しいスケジュール、豊富な食べ物、そして彼が耐えてきたいくつかの浮き沈みについて話しました。私たちは彼の献身と、そこに粘り強く最善を尽くす意欲をとても誇りに思っています。嬉しいニュースとして、泰はレスリングのコーチとお話し、コーチは、レスリングのチームに歩いて行けると言いました！これは泰が何よりも願っていたことなので、とても喜んでいることでしょう！

    The past two weeks had the Annoura Family all over everywhere! Zach is still in Japan (since June 3) and will stay there all the way until August 7. His big news is that he participated in Kodomo Yamakasa, a huge festival in Fukuoka that dates back 770+ years. Wow, very old traditional festival! The peak of the festival takes place on July 15 at 4:59am but all the preparations and practice begin on July 1. The kids version of the festival happens in early July. Zach was very excited to be a leader in his class and he got a good spot carrying the ‘yama’. Meanwhile, Koh flew to Japan on July 3 and will stay in Fukuoka with Zach until they both return together. Koh also participated in Yamakasa and one special thing about this time, is that he got to ride at the top of the ‘yama’ on one of the practice rounds with his family friend Kuchiishi san and Zach!     Joe is still on the west coast, staying at Susan’s cousin’s house in Thousand Oaks and doing his internship with Eugene’s investment banking company. He has made new friends and enjoys his side hustle of buying and selling unique treasurers he finds at thrift stores. He has become quite the specialist for vintage t-shirts, it seems! On the other side of the United States, Ty has made it through his first two weeks of ‘plebe summer’ at the U.S. Naval Academy. Susan was super happy to receive one letter from him and one phone call on July 7 for 30 minutes. Ty spoke of his rigid schedule, the abundant food, and several of the ups and downs he has endured. We are so proud of his dedication and motivation to hang in there and give it his best. In exciting news, Ty spoke to the wrestling coach, who said he could walk on to the wrestling team! We know this make Ty happiest of all.

    いつもはソフトボール大会が終わったらすぐに「打上げ・反省会」のパーティーを開くのですが、今回はスケジュールの問題で数週間待ちました。 私はレスリングのトーナメントのために泰と一緒にフォートワースに行く予定だったのですが、その計画がキャンセルになったので、結局、ソフトボールチームとこのディナーに行くことができました！ 居酒屋「和」では食事だけでなく、ママ友やチームメイトとおしゃべりできるのも楽しみの一つです。 面白いことに、私たちのチームの全員が息子を連れてきたので、案浦ボーイズ3人、浅野家2人、田中家2人、大迫家2人…自分のテーブルには9人の男の子がいて、実際には親のテーブルよりも多かったです！ 私たちは最近の近況について話したり、前回のソフトボールの試合で何が起こったかを振り返り、メニューのお気に入りのアイテムをすべて楽しみました。 オーナーがテーブルにいるときはいつでも役立ちます。 浅野さんご夫妻、美味しいお食事をありがとうございました。来年はチーム居酒屋「和」のさらなる発展を願っています。

    We normally have our ‘uchiage/hanseikai’ party right after our softball tournament ends, but this time because of scheduling issues, we waited a few weeks. I was supposed to be in Fort Worth with Ty for a wrestling tournament but when that plan got cancelled, I was free to go to this dinner with my softball team afterall! I always look forward to not only eating at Izakaya Wa, but also being able to chat with my fellow moms and teammates. It’s funny that everyone on our team brought their sons so there were our 3, the Asanos 2, the Tanakas 2, and the Osakos 2… 9 boys at their own table, that was actually more than the moms table! We chatted over our recent news, reviewed what happened at our last softball game, and enjoyed all our favorite items on the menu. Its always helpful when the owners are at your table! Thank you, Asano family for a great meal and hope our Team Izakaya Wa can do better next year!
