スーザンは今回の東京滞在中に、丈と会うことができました！丈は9月の1ヶ月間にわたる研修を終え、ベイカレントで新しい仕事を始めて約2週間が経ちました。配属先はなんとIR（投資家向け広報）チームとのことで、これからがとても楽しみです！スーザンは丈の新しいアパートでの生活に必要な買い物を手伝い、シーツや毛布、枕などの寝具をはじめ、日用品を一緒に揃えました。冷蔵庫やソファーはまだ中古品を探しているところですが、少しずつ日本での新生活に慣れ、落ち着いてくれることを願っています。一方、ザックは秋休みを利用して攻と一緒にビッグベンドへキャンプに出かけました！険しい山道をハイキングしたり、美しい渓谷でカヤックを楽しんだりする写真を見ることができ、とても楽しそうでした。ザックが羨ましいですね！また、泰からは最近出場した柔道大会の動画が送られてきました。海軍兵学校で日々努力を重ねる泰の姿を、家族みんなでいつも誇りに思っています。家族それぞれが各地で忙しく過ごしていますが、みんな元気に頑張っているようで、何よりです！
Susan went to Tokyo and got to see Joe! It’s been about two weeks since Joe started his new job at Baycurrent, after being in training for the whole month of September. Turns out Joe will be working on the Investor Relations team which is very exciting! Susan helped Joe buy things for his new apartment including bedding for his bed – sheets, blankets, pillow and things for his house. He is still trying to get a used refrigerator and is on the look out for a used couch. Slowly but surely we hope he will settle into his new Japanese life. Meanwhile, Zach had fall break and went camping with Koh to Big Bend! It was fun seeing pictures of him hiking up tough mountains and kayaking in cool canyons. Lucky Zach! Ty send us videos of his latest Judo competition and we are always proud of his hard work at the Naval Academy. Everyone is everywhere but so far, so good.
