    2022年の最初の不動産ソーシャルイベントに案浦チームも参加し、多くの不動産業者や業界の方々との交流を楽しみました。Riverway Titleが主催するこちらのイベント、いろいろな不動産業者達が皆のビジネスをサポートするためのアイディアやどのようにチームで活動するかなどを聞く良い機会となりました。新しくモバイル公証人との出会いもありました。お客様でモバイル公証人が必要な場合は、ご連絡ください。こちらのモバイル公証人は州より認定されており、どこにいてもその場で文書を公証することが可能です。書類の締めくくりから弁護士の権限、さらには雇用の手紙までお客様のもとへ直接運転し、必要書類の公証を行います。多忙な方にはとても便利なサービスです！

    Team Annoura met up with many other realtors and industry professionals at the first Real Estate Social event of 2022.  It was hosted by Riverway Title and it was a good opportunity to meet some new contacts, hear what other realtors have been doing to boost business, and to have a productive team meeting! One new contact we met is a mobile notary. So if anyone needs anything notarized, we now know who to call.  This mobile notary is certified by the state and will go to wherever you are, then notarize your documents right on the spot. Closing documents, power of attorneys, even employment letters, he can drive right to you and notarize your documents. How convenient!

    私の師匠であり親愛なる友人である、ドナ・フジモト・コールが、ヒューストンクロニクルの論文であるTexas Incの表紙（1月10日発行）となりました。ドナは、1980年27歳のときに化学企業を設立した3代目の日系アメリカ人です。 2022年に向けて、日米間の貿易と文化的関係を促進するための貢献に対して、旭日章を授与されました。ドナは慈善家、そして尊敬すべきビジネスウーマンであり、スーザンが今年大統領を務めるヒューストンの女性不動産協会のスポンサーでもあります。ドナ、おめでとうございます！

    One of my mentors and dear friend Donna Fujimoto Cole was recently featured on the FRONT COVER of Texas Inc (the Jan 10th publication), a paper by the Houston Chronicle. Donna is a third generation Japanese American who opened her chemical company in 1980 when she was 27 years old. Fast forward to 2022, Donna was recently honored by the Japanese government with an Order of the Rising Sun decoration for her contributions to promote trade and cultural relationships between the U.S. and Japan. Donna is a philanthropist and a successful business woman, as well as a supporter of the Women’s Council of Realtors Houston, of which Susan serves as President this year. Congratulations dear friend, Donna!

    Rodeo Houston is one of the most exciting events in our city. Sadly, it was canceled completely last year, and in 2020 it was cut short after COVID suddenly struck the world.  This year, the rodeo will take place February 28 – March 30 at NRG Park. This will be their 90th anniversary and the lineup of entertainers is outstanding! Everyone from Tim McGraw to Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Brad Paisley, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Chris Stapleton are all coming to Houston.  If you are brave enough to go, tickets are on sale at www.rodeohouston.com.

    12月は賃貸・売買どちらも好成績となる、とても素晴らしい月となりました。 以前も紹介させていただいた、メモリアルのバンカーヒルエリアにある新しいマッキンリーアパートが沢山の日本人駐在員の方に大人気！その新しいユニットと豪華な設備で、この地域でこれ以上良いものを見つけるのは難しいです。 ディキンソンで、案浦チームであるジャネット・フォルティンは、同チームメンバーである藤田真理子との賃貸契約を初めて2件完了させ、日本人投資家のキャッシュフローを維持することに成功しました。同コンプレックス内から2022年第1四半期に、合計5ユニットを売却予定となっておりますので、乞うご期待ください。 売買に関しては、案浦不動産史上最古の物件となる、築101年のモントローズの趣のあるコテージの購入のお手伝いをいたしました。 案浦チームメンバーの蛭子　稔は、スーザンと協力し日本の久留米からのお客さんのためにクリスマスイブにペアランドの物件を発見、そして複数のオファーがある中での物件獲得のお手伝いをしました。  1月中旬に購入を目指しております！ 多くの日本企業が1月と2月に駐在員の方々を入れ替えるため、管理物件内の多くの物件が今後数日で市場に出される予定となっています。  2つはクリアレイク高校学区内、2つはワード小学校学区内、2つはリーグシティのバウアーシュラグ小学校学区内と計6件の予定です。 賃貸へのお引越しを検討している方、または検討している方をご存知の方は、ぜひ案浦不動産までご連絡ください！

    December was a great month for leasing and sales.  As expected, the beautiful McKinley Apartments in Memorial’s Bunker Hill area was very popular with our Japanese expats. With its brand new units and gorgeous amenities, it is hard to find anything better in the area.  Down in Dickinson, Team Annoura’s Janet Foltyn closed her first two leases with Mariko Fujita, keeping our Japanese investors happily cash flowing. We will bring five units to market in 2022 Q1 so stay tuned! As for residential sales, ARG set a new record for oldest home sold, closing on a quaint cottage in Montrose that was 101 years old. Team Annoura’s Mik Ebisu teamed up with Susan to help our Kurume, Japan buyer win a multiple offer bid for a house in Pearland on Christmas Eve.  We are aiming to close this one in mid-January!  With many Japanese companies shuffling their expats in January/February, we are expecting many houses in our portfolio to hit the market in the coming days. Two will zone to CLHS, two will zone to Ward Elementary, and two will be zoned to Bauerschlag Elementary in League City. If you know anyone looking to lease, please let them know to contact us!
