メキシコ不動産協会（通称:アンピ “AMPI” ）は毎年、メキシコにある様々な都市で毎年恒例の不動産会を開催しています。 2020年はCOVIDのために中止されましたが、2年ぶりに「コングレソ」の開催となりました。案浦不動産 社長・案浦スーザン、ヒューストン不動産協会・グローバルチェアウーマン、テレサ・ヒル、テキサス州不動産協会グローバルチェアウーマンのブレンダ・テイラーなど、テキサスから全米不動産協会から数人参加しました。その他にもコスタリカ、スペイン、パナマやいくつかの不動産協会の会長と交流する絶好の機会でした。また、ここ数年会うことのできなかったメキシコの友達と再開するとても良い機会でもありました。今回の素晴らしいイベントを主催してくれたメキシコのタンピコに乾杯！マエバビーチリゾートでの最後のパーティーは夢のように素晴らしくシュールなものでした！

Each year, the Mexican Real Estate Association, AMPI, holds their annual real estate convention in a rotating city in Mexico.  With 2020 being shut down for COVID, 2021 was the first time in two years for AMPI to hold their “Congreso”.  Several realtors from Texas attended, including Annoura Realty Group’s broker, Susan Annoura, Houston Association of Realtors Global Chairwoman, Theresa Hill, and Texas Realtors Global Chairwoman, Brenda Taylor. It was a great time to network with the presidents of several real estate associations from Costa Rica, Spain, and Panama.  It was also a great chance to meet up with friends from Mexico that we have not seen in years. Cheers to Tampico, Mexico for hosting an outstanding AMPI Congreso! The final party at the Maeva Beach Resort was something of a fantastic dream…it was surreal!

現在のヒューストンの不動産市場はどうなっているのだろうか？最新のデータによると、新しく市場に出される物件は約5％減少し、物件市場は16.5％減少し、平均上場価格は現在も上昇を続けており、1年前の10月と比較すると11.6％上昇していることがわかります。住宅が市場に出回る平均価格は現在384,840ドルとなっており、地元の人々には高価格に見えますが、この夏の平均定価の399,510ドルよりも低下しています。

Are you wondering how the real estate market is doing in Houston?  The latest data shows the new listings have decreased by about 5%, active listings have decreased by 16.5%, and the average list price continues to increase, now standing at 11.6% more than it was one year ago October.  The average price a home goes on the market is now $384,840.  While this seems high to us locals, it is lower than this summer, when the average list price was a whopping $399,510.  

今年のワールドシリーズで地元ヒューストン・アストロズが素晴らしい戦いを繰り広げたことは言うまでもありません。最も興奮したゲームの1つは、10月31日ハロウィーンの夜のゲームでした。私たちはみんなトリック オア トリートをしている最中に、重要な試合を見に家まで戻ってきました。もし31日に負けていたら、4対2で敗北決定でしたが、さすがアストロズ！無事に勝ちました！優れたバッティングとピッチングで、５試合目を乗り切り、11月2日にヒューストンでのホーム試合となりました。残念ながら、アストロズは先週の火曜日に敗北、アトランタ・ブレイブスが2021年のワールドシリーズチャンピオンとなりました。ヒューストン・アストロズのみなさん、お疲れ様でした、これからも応援しています！

We can’t not mention our Houston Astros, who put up an amazing fight for this year’s World Series! One of the most exciting games has to be the game on Halloween night, October 31. We all went trick or treating, but we came back to watch this important game. Had we lost, we would be out, 4 games to 2. But, we won! With some excellent batting and pitching, we survived game 5 and took the series back to Houston on November 2. Sadly, the Astros could not win last Tuesday and the Atlanta Braves became the 2021 World Series Champion.  Good try, Houston Astros, we still love you!
