    スーザンは日本から帰国して以来、まさに「ノンストップ」の毎日を送っています。帰国後すぐにオースティンへ向かい、その足でサウスカロライナへ飛び、さらにバイラー大学時代の友人たちと数日間サウスカロライナで過ごしました。その友人の一人、キャシー・ハーン・ゲンツェルさんは、実は1994年のスーザンの結婚式にも参加していた大切な存在で、それ以来一度しか会えていなかったそうです。30年ぶりにたっぷりと時間を過ごすことができ、チャールストンの観光を楽しみました。キャシーさんは素晴らしい旅のプランナーで、地元の見どころを完璧に把握しており、どこも素敵な場所ばかりでした。旅の途中で、キャシーさんの大学時代のルームメイト、ケリー・マッコートさんも合流し、3人で**Isle of Palms（パームス島）**という島を訪れました。Folly Beachを訪れ、地元で有名なRita’sで絶品のフライド・カレイサンドイッチを堪能したり、貝殻を探したり、日光浴を楽しんだりと、久しぶりの再会に心温まる時間を過ごしました。一方、海軍士官学校にいるタイにはサプライズで親友ジャック・フォルティン君とそのご家族が訪問。ジャックは空軍士官学校に通っており、体操チームに所属しています。ちょうど先週末に海軍と空軍の体操チームの対抗試合があったため、一家でアナポリスを訪れていたのです。カニを食べたり、リラックスした時間を過ごしたタイの様子が写真からも伝わってきました。オースティンでは、丈が期末試験に追われるハードな1週間を乗り切りました。ヒューストンでは、コウがザックと一緒にしっかりとお留守番。ザックは先週火曜日にゴルフの大会で好成績を収め、明日はWestbrook 中学校（通っている中学校）の代表として地区大会に出場します。頑張れ、ザック！

    It’s been go-go-go for Susan, who came back from Japan, immediately left for Austin, then immediately went to South Carolina,  then stayed in South Carolina with some friends from her Baylor days for a few extra days. One friend, Kathy Hahn Gentzel was actually a part of Susan’s wedding back in 1994 and the two had only seen each other once since then. It was so good to spend quality time with Kathy, sightseeing around Charleston. Kathy is an excellent trip planner and knew all the hotspots to check! A couple days into this personal trip, Kathy’s roommate from Baylor, Kelly McCourt flew into town and the three of them went to an island called Isle of Palms. It was great fun visiting Folly Beach, eating at Rita’s (best fried flounder sandwich ever!), and looking for seashells/laying in the sun, and just spending time with each other after being apart for 30 years. Ty at the Naval Academy got a surprise visit from his best from Jack Foltyn and the Foltyn family. Jack attends the Air Force Academy and is on the gymnastic team there. Last weekend, his gymnastic team went against the gymnastic team of the Naval Academy which is why the whole Foltyn clan was in town! We are sure that Ty had an excellent time hanging out with Jack, as we saw pictures of him eating crab and relaxing in his off time. Over in Austin, poor Joe went through a series of difficult mid term tests last week. In Houston, Koh held the fort down with Zach, who had a successful golf tournament last Tuesday. He represents his middle school, Westbrook Intermediate tomorrow in his district golf tournament. Gambare, Zach!

    ヒューストンのビッグニュース！！世界最大の空調機器メーカーであるダイキンが、ヒューストンの野球場の命名権を獲得しました！2025年1月1日をもって、Minute Maid Parkの名前がDaikin Parkに変更されます。ヒューストン・アストロズとDaikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc.は、アストロズの本拠地を「DAIKIN PARK」とするための15年間の命名権契約を発表しました。このパートナーシップは、地域社会や広範な地域に対する両組織の共有ビジョンと長年のコミットメントを強化するものです。これまでにダイキンは、ヒューストン地域に約10億ドルもの巨額投資を行っており、そのうち5億ドル以上がテキサス州ウォーラーにある巨大な製造施設の建設に充てられています。最初の試合は、2025年3月24日（月）、アストロズがトリプルA提携チームであるシュガーランドを迎えたエキシビションゲームで行われます。そして、アストロズは3月27日（木）午後3時10分、ニューヨーク・メッツとの2025年レギュラーシーズン開幕戦をDaikin Parkで迎えます！ダイキン様、命名権の獲得おめでとうございます！Annoura Realty Group全員がダイキン様を誇りに思っています！

    Major Houston news!! The world’s largest HVAC manufacturer, Daikin, got the naming rights for our city’s baseball park last week, and effective January 1, 2025, Minute Maid Park will change its name to Daikin Park! The Houston Astros and Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. announced a 15 year naming-rights partnership to brand the Astros’ home field to DAIKIN PARK. The partnership strengthens both organizations’ shared vision and long-standing commitment to the community and broader regions. Overall, Daikin has invested an astounding $1 billion into the Houston region, including more than $500 million in building their massive manufacturing facilities in Waller, TX. The first game at Daikin Park will be played on Monday March 24, 2025 as the Astros host Triple-A affiliate Sugar Land in an exhibition game. The Astros open the 2025 regular season on Thursday, March 25, 2025 at 3:10pm against the New York Mets at Daikin Park! Congratulations to our biggest and longest standing corporate client, Daikin.     先週のサンクスギビングホリデーは、案浦家の男子たちが全員帰省し、5月以来初めて家族5人が揃いました！特に嬉しかったのは、アナポリスから休暇で4日半帰ってきた泰との再会でした。なんと、スティーブン・イェーガーさんが海軍士官学校から泰を迎えに行き、ボルチモア空港まで送ってくれたんです。本当に感謝です！制服姿で帰省、「シビーズ」に着替えるのを楽しみにしていました。「シビーズ」とは、一般の人が着る普通の服を意味する言葉です。彼が自分の服を着られるのは「休暇中」のみで、このサンクスギビングが初めての休暇だったので特別な時間でした。親友たちとも再会し、毎日（そして毎晩！）クリアレイク周辺を駆け回っていましたが、昨日の朝、再びメリーランドに戻っていきました。丈は先週の土曜日にテキサス大学から帰ってきて、到着するやいなやスーザンとクラレの友人たちとゴルフコースに直行。1週間の間、ほぼ毎日ゴルフを楽しみ、金曜日の夜にはカレッジステーションで行われるテキサス大学対A&Mの試合に向かいました。案浦家では、スーザンのご両親と食事を楽しんだり、家族5人でレイクリビングストンへの日帰り旅行に出かけ、サンクスギビング当日には州立公園をハイキングしました。家族が揃ったことに一番喜んでいたのは、やっぱりスーザンだったかもしれませんね！

    With Thanksgiving holiday last week, all the Annoura boys returned home and we were a family of 5 for the first time since May. It was especially exciting to see Ty, who flew home from Annapolis on leave for 4.5 days. Thank you to Stephen Yeager for picking him up at the Naval Academy and bringing him to Baltimore Airport for us! Ty arrived in uniform and was excited to change into ‘civies’ which is a word that means normal clothes for civilians. He is allowed to wear his own clothes only when he is ‘on leave’ and this Thanksgiving break was his first time to have leave. He met up with his best friends and ran around Clear Lake every day (and night) until he went back to Maryland yesterday morning. Joe returned from University of Texas last Saturday and immediately jumped on the golf course with Susan and her Kuraray friends. He spend his one week golfing almost everyday until he left on Friday night for the UT vs. A&M game in College Station. The Annouras enjoyed a few meals with Susan’s parents and the family of five also took a one day trip to Lake Livingston and hiked around the state park on Thanksgiving Day. Susan was probably the happiest of all to have all the boys home!

  • スーザンの日本旅行のハイライト！

    スーザンの日本旅行は、とても素晴らしい経験となりました。まず、ドナ・コールは、日本の小池百合子知事と個人的な友人で、先週の火曜日、知事のオフィスにて面談をすることができました。麻布台ヒルズの有名なチームラボに入れなかったとき、小池知事が電話をくださり、突然、特別なパスをもらえました。もうひとつの素敵な経験は、タイトーのゲーム会長（スペースインベーダーの発明者）や東急ホテルズの会長など、大企業の多くの日本人のCEOや会長に会えたことです。ドナがセルリアンタワーの私たちの部屋を褒めてくれた後、突然、美しいワインのボトルといくつかの日本の贈り物が部屋に届けられました。個人的な話ですが、スーザンは11月1日に軽井沢を訪れることができました。ちょうど21年前、彼女が初めて軽井沢を訪れた日と同じ日です。当時32歳で丈を妊娠中だった彼女は、Love FMの仕事で東京に出張し、ニューアルバム「White Flag」を出したばかりのイギリス人アーティスト、ダイドにインタビューをする、素晴らしい思い出になりました！ 福岡での週末もとても特別なものとなり、スーザンは攻の両親を訪ね、友人たちと会い、奈良屋町の案浦家の土地に現在建設中の家の状況を確認することができました。本当に素晴らしい日本旅行で、とても生産的でした！ パワフルなUSJCの年次会議に出席したことに加えて、スーザンは山田さん、光澤さん、渡辺さん、清水さんにも会うことができました。 全員、案浦不動産が管理するヒューストンの家を所有する日本人投資家の皆さんです！ 近況について話し合い、直接お話が出来、とても楽しかったです。たった8日間でこれほど多くのことができたなんて信じられません！スーザンの素晴らしい日本旅行は、今朝ヒューストンに戻って終了しましたが（そして、新しいクライアントのビルダーオリエンテーションのためにすぐにキーマに行きました）、人生はこれからも続きます！

    The Japan trip for Susan had some super awesome experiences. First, Donna Cole is personal friends with the Governor of Japan, Ms. Yuriko Koike. We were able to have a short meeting with the Governor last Tuesday in her office! When we couldn’t get into the famous teamLAB in Azabudai Hills, Governor Koike san put a call in and suddenly we had special passes! Another neat experience was getting to meet many Japanese CEO’s and Chairmen of major companies such as the Chairman of TAITO games (inventors of Space Invaders) and the Chairman of Tokyu Hotels. After Donna praised and complimented our room at the Cerulean Tower, we suddenly had delivered to our room a beautiful bottle of wine and several Japanese gifts! On a personal note, Susan was able to visit Karuizawa on November 1, exactly the same day 21 years ago that she visited Karuizawa for the first time. She was 32 at that time, pregnant with Joe, and was in Tokyo on a business trip for Love FM to interview the U.K. artist Dido, who had just come out with a new album called White Flag.  Incredible memory that was! A weekend in Fukuoka was also super special. Susan got to visit with Koh’s parents, see some friends, and to check the status of the new family home currently being built on the Annoura family land in Narayamachi. Such a great trip to Japan, and so productive too! In addition to attending the powerful USJC Annual Conference, Susan also met Yamada san, Mitsuzawa san, Watanabe san, and Shimizu san.  All of these folks are Japanese investors with houses in Houston that Annoura Realty manages! It was so, so fun to catch up with everyone, update them on their houses, and to talk to them face to face. Can’t believe so much was done in just 8 days! Susan’s amazing Japan trip ended today, when she arrived back to Houston this morning (and rushed immediately to Kemah for a new client’s builder orientation). Life goes on!

    案浦家の最新ニュースでは、スーザンは丸 2 週間、家族なしの1人での生活をしました。攻とザックはまだ福岡にいて、泰はもちろんまだ海軍兵学校におり、そして丈はまだロサンゼルスにいます。スーザンにとって、普段は時間がなくてできないことをする素晴らしい時間でした。冷蔵庫を掃除したり（笑！）、マスタークローゼットを掃除し一度も着なくなった古着を寄付したり、息子の部屋を片付けたりしました。彼女はついに、紹介キャンペーン用の「サンキューボックス」の作成も完了しました。これは彼女の 2024 年の大きな目標の 1 つであり、過去 2 週間で達成されました。スーザンはまた、土曜の夜を見つけて友人たちとダウンタウンに踊りに行き、元 HIT パートナーズのビジネス パートナーと 3 日間過ごし、AMPI/メトロテックス イベントに参加する町にいる友人に会うためにパイアスと一緒にダラスまでロードトリップしました。今日から出張三昧の日々が続きます。スーザンは今日、インマンと呼ばれる大きな不動産カンファレンスに参加するためラスベガスに飛びました。彼女は今週、ヒューストン不動産協会の執行委員会とともにこのイベントに出席し、不動産業界の最新情報、トレンド、テクノロジーについて学ぶ予定です。その後、テキサス・リアルターズ幹部会議のためのバストロップへの2日間の旅行、そしてNARLA（全米不動産リーダーシップ・アカデミー）のためのシカゴへ、その直後に泰に会うためのアナポリスへの4日間の旅行が予定されています。海軍兵学校の両親の週末！色々な事が起こってます！！丈は、金曜日にロサンゼルスでの10週間の夏季インターンシップを終えました。彼はおそらくあと数週間、ビンテージ T シャツを売買するために LA に滞在する予定です (笑!)。攻は競輪場でトレーニングをしたり、福岡での新しく家の建設を計画している日本人建築家と面会したりしています。建築許可が承認され、来月着工する予定のようです。すべて順調に行けば、年末までに家が完成するはずです。順調に建築が進むことを願っています!ザックは、かつて私たちの通りに住んでいた友人のユウトくんに会うために、一人で東京に旅立ちました。二人は東京の有名観光スポットをすべて巡るバスツアーに参加しました。ユウトくんのお母さん、ジュンコさんは二人のためにたくさんの楽しいことを計画してくれているので、色々な話を聞くのが待ちきれません！

    In Annoura Family news, Susan just experienced two full weeks of having no one in the family at the house! Koh and Zach are still in Fukuoka, Ty of course is still at the Naval Academy, and Joe is still in Los Angeles. It was a great time for Susan to do things that she normally does not have time to do: clean out the refrigerator (haha!), go through the master closet and donate old clothes that are never worn, tidy up the boys’ rooms. She also finally got around to making her ‘Thank You Boxes’ for her Referral Campaign. This has been one of her big goals for 2024 and this was accomplished over the past two weeks! Susan also found a Saturday night to go dancing downtown with friends, spent 3 days with her former HIT Partners business partners, and went on a road trip with Pius to Dallas to see a friend in town for the AMPI/MetroTex event. Starting today, travel is intense, though. Susan flew to Las Vegas today for a big real estate conference called Inman. She is attending it with her Houston of Association of Realtors executive committee this week and will hear all about the newest updates, trends, and technology in the real estate world. Following that will be a two day trip to Bastrop for the Texas Realtors executive meeting retreat, then a trip to Chicago for NARLA (National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy), then directly after that, a 4 day trip to Annapolis to see Ty for the Naval Academy’s parents weekeend! Lots and lots of things going on!! As for Joe, he wrapped up his 10 week summer internship in Los Angeles on Friday. He will stay in L.A. maybe for a couple more weeks to buy and sell a few more vintage t-shirts (haha!). Koh has been working out at the keirin race track and meeting with our Japanese architect as we plan the construction of our new family home in Fukuoka. Sounds like the building permits have been approved and that they should be breaking ground next month. If all goes well, they say the house should be done by the end of the year! I hope that’s accurate! As for Zach, lucky Zach flew solo to Tokyo to meet up with his buddy Yuto who used to live on our street. The two of them did a bus tour of Tokyo to catch all the major sightseeing spots. Yuto’s mom Junko san has a lot of fun things planned for the two of them and we can’t wait to hear all his stories!
