新学期が本格的に始まり、案浦ファミリーもすっかり通常モードに戻りました。毎日のカープールに加え、ザックはスカウト活動、レスリング、ゴルフと、たくさんの課外活動に励んでいます。スーザンは友人のPiusさん、Theresaさんと共にメキシコシティへ出張し、AMPIの新会長、Jenny Rivas氏の就任式に出席しました。ヒューストンから参加した3人にとっては短い48時間の弾丸旅行となりましたが、冬の嵐によるフライト欠航の影響を避けるため、火曜日まで足止めになる前に、土曜の朝の便で早めに帰国することを決断しました。丈はUT（テキサス大学）での最終学期を迎え、東京での就職オファーについてじっくり検討中です。泰はMLK Jr.ホリデーを利用して友人たちとスノーボードに出かけたほか、2026 SNAシンポジウムにも参加しました。海軍と契約する多くの大手企業や、提督を含む高官の方々と直接交流する貴重な機会となり、とても刺激的な経験だったようです。
In Annoura Family news, school is back in full swing. We are back to carpool and Zach’s many extracurricular activies (scouts, wrestling, golf). Susan had a business trip to Mexico City with two of her friends, Pius and Theresa. The three from Houston went to celebrate the installation ceremony of AMPI’s new President, Jenny Rivas. It was a quick trip 48 hour trip because of the winter storm cancelling flights. In order to not get stuck in Mexico City until Tuesday, they decided to take an earlier flight home on Saturday morning. Joe is in his last semester of UT and still contemplating his job offer in Tokyo. Ty was able to go snowboarding with friends over the MLK Jr. holiday and he also got to attend the 2026 SNA Symposium, meeting many major companies who contract with the Navy as well as many admirals and high ranking officials. Wow!
