案浦不動産では、少しずつ忙しさが増してきています。スーザンはKurarayの新しい駐在員である名倉様とお会いし、Clear Lakeエリアで複数の物件を内覧しました。また、Kobelcoの新しい駐在員、鎌田様の物件案内も行いました。一方、市内では、リファラルのお客様である戸田様ご夫妻が先週、新居へ無事お引越しされました。ヒューストンでの新しい生活のスタートを、スタッフ一同とても嬉しく思っており、心より応援しています。今週は、Daikinの新しい駐在員様の内覧ツアーに加え、フロリダから日帰りでヒューストン入りされる新規バイヤー様の物件案内も予定しています。また、今週クロージング予定なのは、私たちにとっても特別な存在である元JBAHスタッフの小林様です。スーザンとTimが水曜日のクロージング書類対応を進めており、明日の最終ウォークスルーがスムーズに進むことを願っています。商業物件の契約については現在デューデリジェンス期間中で、今週末までに買主から何らかの連絡がある見込みです。現時点では引き続き前向きに進行しています。ヒューストンでは昨日・今日と寒波の影響を受けており、来週末も冷え込む可能性があるため、慎重に対応を進めています。最近は再び在庫が少なくなってきている印象もあり、複数のお客様については、良い賃貸物件が出てくるまで少しお待ちいただく必要がありそうです。がんばりましょう！
その他の社内ニュース 先週末、SusanはHAR（ヒューストン不動産協会）の同僚たちと共に、ヒューストン・フードバンクでボランティア活動を行い、市内各地へ届ける食品の仕分けや梱包作業を行いました。またHARのエグゼクティブチームは、会員の皆様と直接お会いするため、各地のミーティングにも積極的に参加しています。スーザンと真理子は、Dr. Jorge Barro氏による経済予測セミナーにも参加しました。Barro氏によると、今年のヒューストンおよびテキサス経済は順調に推移する見込みとのことです。2015年にスーザンが設立に関わったAREAA（全米アジア系不動産協会）では、久しぶりに多くの旧友と再会できたことも、嬉しいひとときとなりました
In Annoura Realty news, things are starting to get busier. Susan met with a new Kuraray expat, Mr. Nagura, and together they checked out several homes in Clear Lake. Susan also toured a new Kobelco expat, Mr. Kamada. Meanwhile in town, our referral client Mr. Toda and his lovely wife moved into their new home last week. We are excited for them to be starting their new Houston life and wish them all the best. This week we tour a new Daikin expat and we also meet a new buyer client flying to Houston from Florida for ONE day to house hunt. Under contract and slated to close this week is our favorite ex-JBAH staffer Kobayashi san. Hoping for a smooth final walk through tomorrow as Susan and Tim work on the closing paperwork on Wednesday. Our commercial contract is still in the due diligence period and we expect to hear something by this weekend from the buyer. For now, we are still full steam ahead. With the freeze in Houston hitting us today and yesterday and possibly next weekend, we are proceeding as carefully as possible. It does feel as though inventory is low again so we may need to wait for good rentals to come out for several of our clients. Gambarimashou!
In other company news, Susan and her HAR colleagues volunteered at the Houston Food Bank last weekend, packing and sorting foods for people all around the city. The HAR executive team was also busy attending area meetings last week, making an effort to go where our members are to meet them. Susan and Mariko also attended an economic forecast by Dr. Jorge Barro who says he thinks Houston and Texas are going to be fine this year! Always happy seeing old friends at the Asian Real Estate Association of America, an organization that Susan helped start in 2015.
