    ヒューストン日本商工会ソフトボールトーナメント

    ヒューストン日本商工会は4月17日に、毎年恒例のソフトボールトーナメントを開催します。このトーナメントには、優勝トロフィーを求めて多くの日本企業と外国人で構成されたチームが参加します。 案浦不動産は、日本の大手企業に属していない個人で構成される居酒屋 和のジャージスポンサーをしています。シェベロンの日本人エンジニアや、医療センターで働く日本人医師、そして居酒屋　和、サンシャイン リロケーション、案浦不動産からはスーザンと稔 (もしかしたら攻も？)など多くの日本関連企業のオーナーが参加します。同じジャージを数年チームで使ったため、今年は新しいジャージをデザインしました！17日にお披露目できるように作成中ですので、お楽しみに…！

    The annual Japan Business Association of Houston is holding their annual softball tournament on April 17.  This tournament brings together many of the Japanese companies and expats as they battle for a coveted trophy. Annoura Realty is one of the jersey sponsors for Team Izakaya Wa, a team made up of individuals who don’t belong to a big Japanese company.  We have players Japanese engineers from Chevron, Japanese doctors working in the medical center, and the owners of various Japanese related companies like Izakaya Wa, Sunshine Relocation, and Susan and Mik (and maybe Koh?) from Annoura Realty Group. After several years of the same jersey, we are getting new ones made and designed. They should be ready by game day. Batter UP!

    Any Earth Day fans out there?  There are lots of volunteer opportunities throughout Houston this month.  Earth Day is officially April 22 and according to Google, a billion people celebrate the holiday by taking part in activities such as picking up litter and planting trees to make the world a happier, healthier place to live.     The Woodlands has won ANOTHER award!  In Niche’s 2022 Best Cities to Live in America List, The Woodlands claimed the top spot, beating out 227 other cities.  Niche looked across several categories including crime rates, public schools, housing trends, diversity, cost of living, nightlife, outdoor activities, and employment opportunities.  Two cities in Texas made the top 10 list.  The Woodlands of course at #1 and Plano, TX which came in at #9. Austin came in at #25 (surprisingly, I thought it would have come in higher) and Houston came in #71.     Last year we launched our brand new website, www.annourarealty.com and re-branded our email addresses.  Instead of @annourarealtygroup.com we figured that was too long so now our email addresses and our website domain is simply @annourarealty.com.  We also launched a new Japanese website and have re-branded the domain.  For anyone looking for real estate information in Japanese and to read all about Annoura Realty Group and our agents in Japanese, please go to www.annoura-fudousan.com .  Please tell all your friends!

    3月23日は不動産ソーシャルイベントが２回ありました！最初のイベントはウェストハイマーのウェストエンドで開催され、ヒューストンの女性不動産評議会がスポンサーとして参加しました。不動産業界における様々な会社が集まり、クレジットについて勉強し、授業の後はみんなでハッピーアワーを楽しむイベントを開催しました。とても良い天候となり、参加した人たちはローン会社やタイトル会社、住宅保証会社、不動産会社とお話をしながら食事とお酒を楽しみました。2つ目のイベントは、ワシントンアベニューにあるシュガールーム (Sugar Room)という今話題のバーで開催され、案浦チーム一同で参加しました。こちらでもまた業界内の各会社の人たちと出会い、色々なことを学ぶことができました。競争率の高い市場である今だからこそ、成功する取引を行う秘訣は他の会社やエージェントとの関係にあります。多くの場合は適切なローン会社の選択、より安い手数料とより良い利息でお客様のコストダウンをすることが重要視されます。物件の購入・売却を検討している方は、必ず案浦不動産まで連絡することをお忘れずに！

    March 23 we had a DOUBLE real estate social!  The first one was held at The West End on Westheimer and the Women’s Council of Realtors Houston was a sponsor. Industry vendors and realtors came together for a class on credit repair plus a networking happy hour.  The weather was perfect and our guests enjoyed cocktails and food while getting to know lenders, title companies, home warranty companies, and realtors from various different brokerages.  Following this, Team Annoura visited one more real estate social, this one on Washington Avenue at the hot spot known as the Sugar Room. It was fun meeting and learning from others in the industry. Successful transactions are based on relationships, especially in this hot market when knowing the other agent may be the difference between getting the deal or not.  Knowing the right lender is often the difference between making it to closing or not, or saving the client a few dollars with cheaper fees and better rates. Don’t forget- if you are considering to buy a home, be sure to call us first!
