  • この詐欺に注意！

    最近、新しい詐欺が流行していて、私ももう少しで引っかかるところでした！

    その詐欺は「The Toll Roads Notice of Toll Evasion（通行料未払い通知）」というタイトルのテキストメッセージとして届きました。メッセージには、「あなたのアカウントに未払いの通行料があり、延滞料金を避けるために12時間以内に支払う必要がある。さもないと、延滞料金が増額され、DMV（車両管理局）に報告される」と書かれていました。これってすごく怖いし、本物っぽいですよね？ ちょうどその時、私もHardy Toll Road（有料道路）を走行していたので、なおさら信じそうになりました。

    さらに、メッセージには「リンクをコピーしてSafariブラウザで開くこと」と「メッセージにYと返信すること」が指示されていました。絶対にやらないでください！！！ これは詐欺です！
    このezdriveというサイトのリンクを開くと、クレジットカード情報や個人情報を盗まれる可能性があります。

    このリンクには絶対に注意してください！最近、この詐欺についての警告がニュースでも頻繁に報道されています。

    皆さんも十分に気をつけてください！

    It came as a text message and the title was “The Toll Roads Notice of Toll Evasion”.  The message said I had an unpaid toll bill on my account and to avoid late fees, to pay within 12 hours or the late fees would be increased and reported to the DMV. That’s scary and sounds legit, especially since I was riding on the Hardy Toll Road at that time. 

    There is a new scam right now that almost tricked me! 

    The text also says to copy the link to your Safari browser and open it and to reply Y to the message.  DON’T DO THAT!!!!  It is a SCAM!  Once you open the link from ezdrive, that bad site will probably take your credit card information and your personal information.

    Please be careful of this link. There are many warnings about it in the news these days!

    土星の環が見えなくなる珍しい現象が発生！🌌 地球から見た際に、土星の環が真横になるため、一時的にその姿が消えてしまいます。

    🌑 3月29日：部分日食

    月が太陽の最大93%を覆う部分日食が発生！ 🌞🌑 この日食は約4時間続き、米州、ヨーロッパ、アフリカの一部で観測可能。開始時刻はEDT午前4時51分です。

    ☄️ 4月22日：こと座流星群

    夜空を彩る10～15個の流星が1時間に観測できる流星群が出現！ 🌠 輻射点（流星の発生点）は真夜中前に昇るため、月が上る前の時間帯が狙い目です。

    🪐 March 23: Saturn’s Ring Plane Crossing
    Saturn’s rings will disappear from view for a short time as we observe them edge-on from Earth!

    🌑 March 29: Partial Solar Eclipse
    The Moon will cover up to 93% of the Sun at its peak! 🌞🌑 This eclipse will last nearly four hours, starting at 4:51 AM EDT, and will be visible from parts of the Americas, Europe, and Africa.

    ☄️ April 22: Lyrid Meteor Shower
    A dazzling meteor shower producing 10-15 meteors per hour! 🌠 Since the radiant rises before midnight, try spotting meteors before the fat crescent Moon rises after midnight.

    🌙 April 25: Triple Conjunction – A Smiley Face in the Sky
    The waning crescent Moon will align with Venus and Saturn, forming an enchanting “smiley face” in the sky!

    For those of you new to Houston, the Houston Rodeo is one of our city’s largest events. This year, it kicks off on March 4 and ends on March 23. For all the details, please check this website: https://www.rodeohouston.com/. There are so many things to do when you visit the rodeo. There is a huge carnival for the kids, a livestock show inside NRG Center, lots of shopping for all kinds of cowboy goods, of course the rodeo itself, and nightly concerts. If you happen to have any guests who are arriving from outside the U.S. around early March and who have a passport stamp, you can send them to the second floor of NRG Center to register and enter a special lounge for international guests. Look for all the international flags and the registration desk or you can share Susan’s phone number so they can contact her if they need help to get a special pass (832-725-7880). International guests will need to show their passport with an immigration entry stamp to get their special pass. Once they have their special pass, they can enter a VIP lounge with great food and drinks and the opportunity to visit with other international guests and agriculture related vendors. Also!     クレアレイク杯　ソフトボールトーナメント

    昨日、NASAの敷地内で毎年恒例のクリアレイク杯・ソフトボール大会が開催されました！スーザンさんと攻さんも「居酒屋和」のチームメンバーとして参加しました。この大会は毎回とても楽しいイベントで、多くの選手が案浦不動産のお客様でもあるんです！チームは朝8時に集まってウォームアップを行い、9時から試合がスタートしました。「居酒屋Wa」はこれまで何度もこの大会で優勝してきましたが、今年は惜しくも優勝を逃してしまいました！優勝したのは「クリアレイク・ユナイテッド」。最終回に見事なホームランを打ち、念願のチャンピオンズカップを手にしました！おめでとうございます！

    The annual Clear Lake Cup softball tournament happened yesterday inside the grounds of NASA! Susan and Koh took part as members of Team Izakaya Wa. This is always a fun tournament because a lot of the players are Annoura Realty Group clients! Teams met at 8am for warm ups, then games started at 9am. Izakaya Wa has won this tournament year after year and this year, we just couldn’t hang on! Congratulations to Clear Lake United. They had a massive home run in the last inning and ran away with the coveted Champions Cup!

    Major Houston news!! The world’s largest HVAC manufacturer, Daikin, got the naming rights for our city’s baseball park last week, and effective January 1, 2025, Minute Maid Park will change its name to Daikin Park! The Houston Astros and Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. announced a 15 year naming-rights partnership to brand the Astros’ home field to DAIKIN PARK. The partnership strengthens both organizations’ shared vision and long-standing commitment to the community and broader regions. Overall, Daikin has invested an astounding $1 billion into the Houston region, including more than $500 million in building their massive manufacturing facilities in Waller, TX. The first game at Daikin Park will be played on Monday March 24, 2025 as the Astros host Triple-A affiliate Sugar Land in an exhibition game.
