テキサス大学オースティン校 – 全国制覇

先日、国内で最高の学部大学のランキングをUS News and World Reportが発表しました。

テキサス大学オースティン校はすでにテキサス州の公立大学として第1位にランクされていましたが、公立大学の中で全国第9位に上昇しました。

公立大学と私立大学の両方を見ると、UT は全体で 32 位と 6 つ順位を上げる結果となりました。

ジェイ・ハーツル大学学長は、生徒たちが惹きつける素晴らしい才能と、オースティンのような多様性のある都市で、人生を変えるような手頃価格のキャンパス体験を生み出すことに尽力したおかげだと述べています。

マコームズ・スクール・オブ・ビジネスとコックレル・スクール・オブ・エンジニアリングも高いランキングを獲得し、多くのカテゴリーで全米トップ10にランクインしました。 マコームズは現在、米国で第 5 位のベスト ビジネス スクールです。 （丈、やったね！）

米国ニュースのランキングは、学部を比較する際に最もよく参考にされる情報源の 1 つです。

Recently, US News and World Report released its rankings of the best undergraduate universities in the country.

The rankings showed that the University of Texas, at Austin, already ranked as the number one public university in the state of Texas, has climbed to #9 nationally, among public universities.

Looking at both public and private universities, UT  moved up 6 places to number 32 overall.

University President Jay Hartzell says that UT’s improvement is due to the great talent they attract as well as a dedication to create campus experiences that are both life changing and affordable in a diverse city like Austin.

The McCombs School of Business and the Cockrell School of Engineering both earned high rankings in the report as well, rising into the top 10 nationally in many categories.  McCombs is now the #5 best business school in the United States. (Yay, Joe!)

The U.S. News ranking is one of the most often looked at sources when comparing undergraduate institutions.
