November is one of the best months to enjoy Houston, with cooler weather and plenty of events for the whole family. The month starts off big on Tuesday, November 3, when Marie Kondo, the Japanese tidying expert, comes to Asia Society Texas. Asia Society is also holding its Night Market on Friday, November 6, with Asian food, shopping, arts and games, and the outdoor market is free. From November 12 to 15, the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market returns to Reliant Center with more than 280 merchants, which makes it a favorite place in Houston to start holiday shopping (one-day tickets are \$25). Starting November 14, Space Center Houston in Clear Lake lights up for Galaxy Lights, a space-themed holiday light show that runs through January 3, and the same day Discovery Green holds a free Diwali Festival of Lights. To finish the month, the H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade goes through downtown Houston on Thursday, November 26, at 9 a.m. Mark your calendars and enjoy everything Houston has to offer this fall!
