  • AMPI不動産協会がヒューストンを訪問

    Last week, HAR welcomed 20 AMPI realtor guests from Mexico for a special 3 day Mentorship Program. Guests in the day time met for seminars and classes to see how real estate is conducted in Houston. They got to learn about HAR as an organization and to see some of the benefits HAR provides its members. It was a perfect opportunity for our HAR global members to meet and network with these visitors. In the evening, our Mexican guests were treated to a Blake Shelton concert at the rodeo, a multi-course Peruvian dinner, a reception at King’s Ranch, a private party inside the Wine Garden, the ride of a lifetime on a firetruck inside the Rodeo’s Grand Entry, and a formal gala at the Bayou City Event Center. The guests had a great time and wonderful friendships were made and deepened. Congratulations to everyone involved in this successful event!

    テキサス不動産協会　冬季会議

    テキサス州には、Texas REALTORS® と呼ばれる不動産協会が存在し、毎年2月には、オースティンに集まり、さまざまな会議が開催されます。今年の会議は2月8日から13日まで開催され、グローバル部門ではパナマの開発者が投資家や退職者にとって有益なプロジェクトについて講演を行いました。パナマは医療制度が充実しており、物価も安いため、退職者の多い国としてトップ5にランクインしています。基調講演者はテリー ワトソンで、ビジネスを行う際に重要なことは、常にクライアントに「あなたにとって最も重要なことは何ですか?」と尋ねることで、できる限り効率的に行動するよう、参加者全員に思い出させました。最後の会議は州全体の理事会で、協会のほとんどの事業と最新情報のアップデートを行いました。すべての会議の合間には、多くのイベント、ディナー、ピックルボール トーナメント、スーパーボウル観戦パーティーなどが開催され、とても充実した楽しい5日間となりました。

    The state of Texas has a realtor association called Texas REALTORS®. Every February, leaders from around the state gather in Austin for various meetings. This year, the meetings were held February 8-13. During the global meetings, developers from Panama came to talk about a project that is good for investors or retirees. Panama ranks in the top 5 places for people to retire because of their good medical system and affordability. The keynote speaker was Terry Watson, who reminded everyone to be as efficient as possible when conducting business with the key take away being to always ask the client, “What is the most important thing for you?” then work to achieve that goal. The final meeting was the statewide Board of Directors meeting where most of the association business and updates took place. In between all the meetings were many events, dinners, a Pickleball tournament, and a Super Bowl watch party. It was a productive and fun five days.

    ヒューストン不動産協会、今年初となる国際諮問グループ会議が 1月8日月曜日に開催されました。今年の議長はスーザンの親友の 1 人であるパイウス ドーソンです。パイウス氏は、ヒューストンでの国際パートナーの受け入れ、海外ミッション旅行への参加、ヒューストンでのCIPS保持者の増加など、世界の最前線でHARに関する多くの大きな計画を立てています。最初の会議で、 HARの社長兼 CEO であるボブ・ヘイルを招待し、HAR に関連する全ての事柄についてグループに最新情報の提供しました。現在の掲載されている物件情報は日本語を含む多くの外国語で翻訳され聞くことができる様になりました。会員特典として、HAR はすべての会員に、Inman Select、Real Estate news、RISMedia の 3 つの不動産ニュース 購読サービスを提供しています。ヒューストンでは、HAR.com が家探しの最大の情報源であることをご存知ですか？人々がzillow.comやhomes.comを利用する他の市場とは異なり、ヒューストンでは物件探しの情報収集に最適なのはhar.comです。 2023 年のリスティングの総閲覧数は、なんと 4 億 4,6014,531 回に達しました。ヒューストンに移住する外国人のトップ3 はメキシコ、インド、中国です。

    次回の大きなイベントは 2 月末に予定されており、AMPI の国際メンバーをヒューストンに招待し、数日間のネットワーキング、勉強、ホームステイ、エンターテイメントを楽しむ予定です。日程はヒューストンのロデオと重なるため、夕方にはロデオに招待し、ヒューストンの文化の紹介をします。

    The Houston Association of Realtors first Global Advisory Group meeting was held on Monday January 8. This year’s chair is one of Susan’s best friends, Pius Dawson! Pius has many big plans for HAR on the global front including hosting international partners in Houston, participating in outbound missions trips, and increasing the number of CIPS designees in Houston. At the first meeting, Pius invited Bob Hale, President and CEO of HAR, to update the group on all things related to HAR: Listing descriptions can now be heard in many foreign languages, including Japanese! As a member benefit, HAR gives all of its members subscriptions to three real estate news services: Inman Select, Real Estate news, and RISMedia. Did you know that in Houston, HAR.com is the #1 source for finding homes? Unlike other markets where people use zillow.com or homes.com, in Houston, the best source of information to find homes is har.com. In 2023, total listing views was a staggering 446,014,531! The top 3 foreign countries people are moving to Houston from are Mexico, India, and China.

    Our next big event will be at the end of February when we invite members of AMPI Global to Houston for a few days of networking, education, home stay, and entertainment. The dates will coincide with the Houston Rodeo, so we will be bringing them to the rodeo in the evenings to show them some Houston culture as well!

  • NAR Leadership Academy

    全米不動産協会は、特別かつ厳選されたプログラムである NAR Leadership Academy を運営しています。 毎年、全米から 20 ～ 25 の不動産業者がこの 10 か月に及ぶプログラムに選択され、8 つのセッション (対面 4 セッション、バーチャル 4 セッション) で構成されています。 アカデミーは、地方および/または州レベルでリーダーシップの経験があり、まだ国家レベルでは積極的に関与されていない新進のリーダーを特定し、トレーニングをし、未来に貢献することを目的としています。 そして、参加者がさまざまなリーダーシップの側面に触れ、途中で自分のリーダーシップ スタイルを確立することに役立ちます。 プログラム内で、NARのリーダーシップの歴史、構造、内部の仕組みを学び、チームで協力してキャップストーンプロジェクトを完成させ、11月のNAR全国会議で発表します。

    スーザンは今年の NARLA に選択され、先週ワシントン DC で最初のセッションに参加し、 他の 20 人の尊敬される不動産業者と共に、リーダーシップの旅に乗り出しました。

    The National Association of Realtors runs the NAR Leadership Academy, a special and very selective program. Each year, 20-25 realtors across the U.S. are chosen for this 10-month program, involving 8 sessions (4 in person, 4 virtual). The Academy aims to identify, motivate, and guide emerging leaders who have leadership experience at the local and/or state level, but have not yet been actively involved at the national level. The program exposes participants to various leadership aspects, helping them define their own leadership style along the way. Leadership Academy participants will also learn the history, structure, and inner workings of NAR leadership and work in teams to complete and present a Capstone Project at the NAR National Conference in November.

    Susan was selected for NARLA this year and her first session was in Washington DC last week. She met 20 other esteemed realtors and embarked on their leadership journey together!

  • HAR ホリデー昼食会

    毎年恒例の HAR Advisory Group の昼食会が 11月30日にメディカル センターの Wolfgang Puck レストランで開催されました。 HAR.com には、ヒューストンの不動産メンバーで構成される多数のグループがあります。彼らは自ら時間を割いて定期的に集まり、業界の問題について話し合い、会員、協会、消費者に利益をもたらす解決策や新しいプログラムを提案します。委員会は、YPN (若手専門家ネットワーク)、グローバル (スーザンは元委員長)、MLS、リスク軽減、政治問題、リスク管理などの特定の専門分野に焦点を当てています。1 年間のボランティア活動を記念して、HAR は全員が参加する年次昼食会を開催します。 Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) には現在 50,000 人を超える会員がおり、これらの諮問グループは組織をより良くするために常に取り組んでいます。

    The annual HAR Advisory Group holiday luncheon took place on Nov 30 at Wolfgang Puck restaurant in the Medical Center. HAR.com has many advisory groups comprised of Houston realtor members. They volunteer their time to meet regularly to discuss problems in the industry and also ro suggest solutions and new programs that will help benefit the members, association, and consumers. Committees focus on particular specialties such as YPN (Young Professionals Network), Global (Susan is past chairman), MLS, Risk Reduction, Political Affairs, Risk Management, etc. To commemorate a year’s worth of volunteering, HAR holds an annual luncheon where all advisory group members come together. The Houston Assocation of Realtors (HAR) has over 50,000 members now and these advisory groups constantly work to make it better and better.
