Pius Dawsonさんが、2026年10月31日の早朝に永眠されました。
Piusさんと私は、HARのGlobal Advisory Board（国際諮問委員会）で10年間共に活動してきました。その間、テキサス州内はもちろん、全米各地、そしてメキシコにも何度も一緒に会議に出かけました。どこへ行っても、Piusさんはいつも周りの人を気遣い、誰もが温かく迎えられていると感じられるよう心を配ってくれる人でした。海外のお客様とのビジネスについての知識を伝えることに情熱を注ぎ、仲間の不動産エージェントにCIPS（国際不動産専門資格）の取得を勧める機会を決して逃しませんでした。
ダラスのEd Eakinさんと3人で、どこへ行っても「3 Amigos（三人組）」と呼ばれていました。リンカーン記念堂の階段をPiusさんと競争して駆け上がったことや、夜遅くまでお店に残り、笑いながら色々な話をした日々は、決して忘れることはありません。
近年、PiusさんはNAR（全米不動産協会）のドイツ担当グローバル・リエゾンに就任し、私はHARの執行委員会のメンバーとなりました。お互いにリーダーとしての道を並んで歩み、励まし合いながら成長してこられたことは、私にとってかけがえのない宝物です。
Piusさんは本当に多くの人々の人生に影響を与えてくれました。私もその一人です。共に旅したすべての道のり、共に作ったすべての思い出に、心から感謝しています。
大切な友よ、どうか安らかに。
Pius Dawson passed away in the early morning of October 31, 2026.
Pius and I served together on the HAR Global Advisory Board for 10 years. In that time, we traveled to conferences throughout Texas, all over the United States, and to Mexico several times. Wherever we went, Pius was helpful and inclusive, always making sure everyone felt welcome. He had a real passion for sharing what he knew about doing business with international clients, and he never missed a chance to encourage fellow REALTORS® to earn their CIPS designation.
Together with Ed Eakin from Dallas, we were known as the “3 Amigos” everywhere we went. I’ll never forget racing Pius up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, or all the late nights we spent closing down the bars, laughing and swapping stories.
In recent years, Pius became NAR’s Global Liaison to Germany, and I joined HAR’s Executive Committee. It meant so much to me that we grew in our leadership journeys side by side, cheering each other on along the way.
Pius touched the lives of so many people, especially mine. I’m grateful for every mile we traveled and every memory we made together.
