新学年に向けて免税ウィーケンド！

夏休みもあと少しとなり、学校の準備が必要な時期、はい！免税ウィーケンドの時期です！ 2022年8月5日から7日まで、消費税を支払うことなく多くのアイテムの購入が可能です。免税対象となるアイテムは、学用品、衣類、履物、１アイテム当たり$100未満のリュックなどが含まれます。対象外のアイテムには、スポーツ用の特殊な衣類、宝石などのアクセサリー、時計/時計バンドとなります。免税品と学用品のリストについては、ここをクリックしてください。勿論、オンラインショッピングも免税対応となりますが、送料は合計金額にカウントされるため、各商品$100以下であることを確認してください。例としてはアイテムが$95で、送料が$10の場合、合計価格は$105となり、免税対象外となります。

Tax free weekend for back to school stuff is coming up! Wait until Aug 5-7, 2022 and you can go shopping for many items WITHOUT paying sales tax. Qualifying items include school supplies, clothing, footwear, and backpacks under $100 per item. Can you buy items online??  I’m glad you asked! Yes, you can buy items online, but the shipping counts towards the total price, and remember that each item can only be a max of $100.  So, if you buy something online for $95 and the shipping costs $10, then your total price is $105 and is now NOT tax free because the item is considered $105, which is over the $100 maximum.
