2026年1月23日、メキシコシティにてAMPIの「Toma de Protesta（会長就任式）」が開催されました。会場は高級エリア・ポランコにあるインターコンチネンタル・ホテル・プレシデンテで行われ、友人のPius Dawson氏、Theresa Hill氏と共に、新会長に就任されたJenny Rivas氏のお祝いに駆けつけました。スーザンこの8年間、メキシコ各地の不動産エージェントの方々と数多くの素晴らしい関係を築いてきました。毎年のAMPIコングレソへの参加や、NARカンファレンス、テキサス不動産協会のイベントなどで再会する機会も多く、今回も久しぶりに皆さんとお会いできたことをとても嬉しく思っています。AMPI元会長のRoberto Barrios氏には、レフォルマ通りにある名門ステーキハウス「La Mansión」でのディナーにご招待いただき、また金曜日の夜にはJenny Rivas会長が国際代表団をディナーに招待してくださいました。意見交換を行い、テキサスとメキシコの関係をさらに強化していくための話し合いができた、非常に有意義な時間となりました。AMPIはメキシコの全米不動産協会（National Association of Realtors）に相当する団体です。
January 23, 2026 was AMPI’s “Toma de Protesta” event in Mexico City. The ceremony took place in the upscale area of Polanco inside the Intercontinental Hotel Presidente. Susan flew with her two friends Pius Dawson and Theresa Hill, to congratulate and celebrate the installation of the new President, Jenny Rivas. Over the past 8 years, Susan has built many beautiful relationships with different realtors from all over Mexico. Whether going to attend the AMPI Congreso every year or seeing them at our NAR Conference or Texas Realtors Conference, there are many chances to see everyone and it was a great time to see them again. A big thank you to Roberto Barrios, an AMPI past president, who took us out for dinner at La Mansion on Reforma Avenue (fabulous steak house) and to Jenny Rivas for treating the international delegation for dinner on Friday night. It was an excellent time for everyone to exchange ideas and to discuss how to strengthen the Texas-Mexico relationship. AMPI is the Mexico’s National Association of Realtors.
